Roll the ball under a tire, and answer a science question!

Subjects/skills learned: Science principles (biology, ecology, etc), but can be adapted for multiple other
Object of the game: The team that earns the most points (by answering the most points correctly) wins.

Sequence Shuffle
An active quick-fire question-and-answer game
Age group: Grades 1-4
Number of students recommended: 25
Subjects/skills learned: Any subject or combination of subjects (math, English, science….)
Object of the game: To think quickly and correctly answer questions on an individual basis.
Setup: No set up needed.
Game Play: All of the students start by sitting on the tires. The teachers call out to start, and all the students get up and move throughout the playground (similar to musical chairs). Jeopardy
A trivia-based inspired by the game show, with increasing levels of difficulty

Subjects/skills learned: Any subject or combination of multiple subjects (math, English, science….)
Object of the game: The team with the most cumulative points at the end of the games wins.

Match Me – Chemistry
A multi-team head-to-head competition to find the right tire!
Age group: 4-8
Number of students recommended: 25
Subjects/skills learned: Periodic table and theories
Object of the game: The team that has all members seated on tires first wins.
Setup: On each of the tires, use chalk to write a word or phrase that corresponds to the skill level required (the word/phrase you write will be the answers to the questions you call out). Divide the class into two teams, and have each team line up. Both lines should start on the same side of the playground, one on either side of you, the teacher.
